1 - Coaches are a bunch of rude people, unless they love your kid. They treat kids like beeve (spelling?) at the market. They talk to your kids then drop off the face of the earth not returning calls or DM's. They think that we are stupid, that we don't know that they are courting some other kid. Kind of like the tv show cheaters.........

I'm sorry you've had a tough time. It is the sad part of the recruiting equation: coaches have to cast a wide net (and many can afford to do so), and that can leave players and parents feeling betrayed. It's vital to keep a strong business mindset, but that can be difficult when the player must develop a personal relationship with the coaches in order to determine if the player is a good fit for the institution.
Not a tough time... Not really upset, just an observation.... This is more for the next class's... 2019's etc.... I guess that I had preconceptions on how communications are done and now I know how Coaches communicate in general. There are some that did reply before they disappeared. The ones that LOVE your kid will reply to you at all hours of the day, believe me............ If you DM a coach and they don't get back to you shortly or 24 hrs max, I would start to worry...... Seen it happen with multiple kids, same coach, replies back to one kid and ignores another kid. both kids are best friends. Just the way it is....
Ah, I see... My son is 2019, so I'm sure I'll have a lot more to add after next signing day!
